Sun 12th Oct Craft Beer, Crafty Tracy & Crafty You. Victory definitely puts the craft into craft beer. Crafty Victory saleswoman Tracy Mulligan invites you to make crafts with her. We'll have Sunday afternoon Victory Storm King Sundaes and Whirlwind Wit Whirly Frisbees to help inspire your creativity. We will have a bunch of craft supplies, but feel free to bring your own too.
Sat 18th Oct Grey Lodge Golf Outing. The cost will be $100. 8:00am at Byrne. More info to come.
Fri 05 Dec Mad Elf Night Join us for 2008 and 2007 Mad Elf on tap, Mad Elf gear for sale, and appearances by numerous Troegs folks.
Fri 19 Dec Sly Fox 13th Anniversary Party. Sly Fox turns 13 in December. 13! 13! 13! We can't that go uncelebrated. Details to come.
Community Events
The
Tacony Civic Association is pleased to announce the acts for this
year's Free Summer Concert Series at Disston Rec - Disston and Glenloch
Sts. The concerts will be every other Thursday beginning June 26th. The
opening act will begin at 6:30p. Food will be available for purchase.
Just bring a lawn chair. Please

at the Zoo.
The Fifth Annual Brew at the Zoo will be held on Saturday, July 26,
2008 from 6:00-10:00 PM at the Philadelphia Zoo. This event for those
21 and over will feature more than 25 national, local and home brewers
as well as food and entertainment. Back by popular demand for the 5th
consecutive year, Soniqboom. will perform live at the event. Other
entertainers scheduled to appear include Jumboree Player, the Philly
Fun Timers and DJ Charlie Meyers.
They will
now be offering FREE shuttle service from the following locations to
the event: 1) Disston Rec Center
4423 Longshore Ave, Philadelphia,
PA 19135 and 2) Ramp Playground, Across from Father Judge High School
on Rowland and Solly Avenues, Philadelphia, PA 19136. The shuttles will
be departing from these locations at 5:00 PM and arriving back to them
at 11:00 PM. If you would like to reserve seats on one of these
shuttles, please contact Therese Garvin at nivrag53@aol.com or
215-281-9228. You must already have purchased event tickets to reserve
a spot on the shuttles. Space is limited, so reserve your seat
soon!
Fri 15 Aug Brewery Night at the Mercer Museum. Rub elbows with beer enthusiasts and history buffs alike at our popular Brewery Night program. Local beer historian Rich Wagner returns to demonstrate and discuss Colonial brewing methods while showcasing his collection of authentic equipment. This event features a tutored tasting with the Keystone Homebrew Association. Light refreshments are included. 6:30PM. Cost: $25 ($20 BCHS members). Reservations required, call 215-345-0210, ext. 123.
