Hardy-Har-Harvest
Q: What do you get when you combine stand up comedy with wet-hopped harvest beers?
A: Hardy-Har-Harvest at The Grey Lodge!

On Saturday, 27 October, join us for our first Hardy-Har-Harvest, which we hope will become an annual event. This is the first beer event we are aware of that combines stand-up comedy with beer.
Wet-hopped beers feature hops that have been harvested fresh off the vine, still wet. These beers, which taste extra fresh, can only be made once a year*, so we make sure to enjoy them while we can. Besides wet-hopped beers, we will have a few other types of harvest beers too.
Comedians include James Hesky, Erin "E-unit" Mulville, Nicole Yates, John Kensil, and Benny Michaels.
Tap List:
Abita Pecan Harvest - made with freshly harvest Louisiana pecans.
Dock Street Rye IPA Fresh Hop - a wet hopped IPA from West Philly.
Free Will Freshee - a new one from the new brewery out of Perkasie.
Long Trail Harvest Ale - this English style bitter uses freshly harvested ingredients from Vermont, including maple syrup.
Ommegang Scythe & Sickle - a seasonal brew that celebrates the richness of the grain harvest.
Philly Harvest From the Hood - a wet hopped beer from Kensington. This year's batch is said to be crazy hoppy.
Port High Tide IPA - a wet hopped IPA from California.
Sierra Nevada Northern Hemisphere Harvest Ale - another wet hopped beer from California. One of the original wet-hopped beers.
Sixpoint Autumnnation - a wet hopped beer with fresh pumpkin.
Victory Harvest Ale - a wet hopped beer from Downingtown.

Saturday, 27 October 2012
All beer will be tapped by 6pm
Comedy starts at 8pm
Pay as you go. No cover charge.
* Technically, these beers can be made twice a year, if you want to go the expense of flying fresh hops from the southern hemisphere during what is our spring. Currently Sierra Nevada is the only brewery to go to this extreme, which is just another example of why they are so awesome.
